Mobile Music Player for Trucking Industry:
Thumper Sound is a mobile player that combines mp3 playing capabilities with CD playing capabilities with CD ripping abilities. The owner of such device was able to rip CDs (up to 4 simultaneously) to mp3 format, while at the same time listening to any of the mp3 songs already on the player. The mp3 are organized into genre and singer automatically using embedded song classifications on the CD (related to the IMBD database on the web).
This project’s value proposition was the ability to transition from the CD era to the mp3 era for people with massive collections of CD without wasting too much time on the ripping process.
